Sharonda Ausbie

Sharonda Ausbie, is the co-founder and Director of The Ausbie Affect. She has gained experience working with preschool to adolescents using the principles of ABA. Sharonda has a huge love and passion for working with children touched with special needs. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Phoenix and she holds a Master’s degree in Education with Special Education & Child Development.


She has experience in a variety of environments including clients' homes, schools, communities, and clinics. Her primary expertise is in the verbal acquisition, social skills, and effectively transitioning students into inclusive settings.

Shakelia Ausbie


Shakelia Ausbie, is the co-founder and BCBA of The Ausbie Affect. She has over ten experienced years of working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities. Her work in behavioral therapy has included her expertise in schools, private inclusion settings, home-based therapy, and clinic-based settings. Shakelia Ausbie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) who grew up in Houston, TX. Shakelia earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Houston-Downtown and later pursued her Master of Science in Psychology with emphasis in Educational Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University.

Shakelia devoted her time as a Student Analyst/Behavioral Specialist working in the field of ABA working with several clinics and in-home based ABA providers throughout Houston. Shakelia has a desire for working with a diverse group of children and individuals affected by the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities. Her mission is to expand knowledge, independence, and life skills of every person she encounters.
